BACK TO ACTION THIS WEEK

After a week off for track maintenance, harness racing resumes at The Meadows this week.  11 qualifying races will take place on Tuesday morning, followed by parimutuel action Wednesday through Saturday at 12:45pm.

SERIES FINALS SET

With stake season approaching soon, the final Spring Series events for 3-year-olds will wrap up this week at The Meadows.  On Wednesday, it’s the final of the Ruby Cook Memorial Series, for a purse of $19,500, set for Race #1.  Last week’s leg winner Kiki Lou Kiki will look to remain undefeated in 2025 in just her second start, facing first leg winner Fancy Like Louuuuu.  Both are sired by Sweet Lou.  Thursday will feature the $20,100 Margaret Provost Trotting Series final, with leg winners H Moni Winner and Backswing headlining the field in Race #1.  Finals for the Terry Altmeyer Memorial Series and the Tom Kirwan Memorial Series will be drawn in the next two days.

GUARANTEED POOL CONTINUES

The Meadows will continue to offer the daily $5,000 guaranteed pool on the late Pick4, the final four races of each day’s card.  The pool is guaranteed daily through a joint effort with the USTA’s Strategic Wagering Program and the Meadows Standardbred Owners Association.

JENSON POSTS STRONG LOCAL NUMBERS

Brady Jenson, who has become a regular during the winter months at The Meadows in recent years, has had a successful 2025 campaign locally, before he heads back to Minnesota for the summer.  Jenson became a sought-after catch driver this year, winning 36 of 301 drives, placing him in the top-5 in victories.  He also in the top-5 among trainers, with 28 wins in 122 starts (23%) and a .370 trainer rating.

If you would like additional information at any point, please reach out to track announcer Jeff Zidek (jeff.zidek@pennentertainment.com).
