It’s a back-to-back long weekend in South Australia, and once again Globe Derby Park will be the centre of attention for harness racing in the State.

A strong 10 race card has been framed with feature events for two-year-olds, three and four-year-olds and older pacers.

The highlight of the program is Race 4, the $25,000 Kevin & Kay Seymour & SAHRC Adelaide Pacing Cup, a 2230 metres mobile event for open class horses.

Another feature as part of the collaboration between the Seymour Group, SA Harness Racing Club and Harness Racing SA to raise prizemoney in the State, the Adelaide Pacing Cup has drawn together a select field of nine.

The race is likely to be a shoot-out between the recent country cup winners Springfield Affair (Port Pirie), Delightful Tammy (Gawler), Lord Zarias (Victor Harbor) and Honeybun (Kapunda). The race begins at 7.28 pm Adelaide time.

The $14,999 SA BOTRA Kindergarten Series Final for two-year-olds over 1800 metres is the main supporting event. It is race 8 at 9.23pm.

The classic pits the two heat winners Im Big Business and Hez So Royal against the Victorian raider Open The Gates.

The other feature is Race 6 the $14,000 Ladbrokes 3YO & 4YO Pace Final (1800 metres) at 8.23pm. The wide open affair sees a clash between heat winners Fly The Banner and Tembie, the polemarker Machete Roulette and the Southern Cross runner-up Splash Of Paynt.
