Harness racing hits Cambridge again today with 8 races on the card . The racing starts at 5:14pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good night of racing.

Best Bet:  R2  Paramount Lady

Best Value:  R5 Onetangi Girl

Race 1

Twista (7) Better for fresh up third. Can run top three with a cart into the race. Include
Beta Prepare (4) Small field will help and should begin quickly. Stable respect. Needed
Desert Dawn (3) Getting better with racing and good upset win last start. Win chance

Race 2

Paramount Lady (3) Easy win last start at Auckland and easier here. Has to be included
Patrick Mahomes (10) In good form and mobile will suit. Should get a run through early
Saxon Reigns (7) Improver from her last start third and upset chance here at longer odds

Race 3

Aquila (6) Workout winner who is having his first North Island start. Good run expected
For Always Arden (3) Stable can produce them to win on debut and has to be included
Valerei (1) Trial form ok and has the draw to suit. Can sneak into the top three with luck

Race 4

Mazeppa (5) Back to a track he loves so has to be a good chance with manners. Include
Del Shannon (6) Freshened and has plenty of speed. Should give a good account in this
Aradne  (2) Mixing form but an improver with a place chance from the draw. Could surprise

Race 5

Onetangi Girl (3) Fought on last start and has gate speed if needed. Top selection in this
Showtym Girl (7) Runing on last start and well placed here. Good each way chance here
Kawactus  (1) Will be fitter after last start. Trailing draw and should get a soft trip. Include

Race 6

Iron Brigade (3) Good against similar fields in the past. Big chance with no mistakes here
Matai Phil (4) Should get a soft run handy. Gets a head start on favourites. Include in this
Little Spike (10) Back in the handicaps but no doubting the ability. Track stats very good

Race 7

Colin McBride (5) Likely to head forward early here. Will need manners but can go close
Caulfield (1) Ace draw helps and should go close to placing in this. Has been freshened
St John Eight (4) Disappointing last start but should get a good run near the speed. Include

Race 8

Baffled (9) Now trained in the North and has a decent motor. Wide draw but can win
Majestic Bundy (8) Decent motor and fitter after last start. One of the better chances
Emily Bay (1) Disappointing last start. Will continue to improve and place hope again here
