Hussard du Landret, Cobra Killer Gar invited to Elitloppet

Hussard du Landret (France) and Cobra Killer Gar (Italy) have accepted Elitloppet invitations bringing the  total invites to 14.  Cobra Killer Gar has been a recent hot performer in France for trainer H.E. Bondo. Eric Raffin has been teaming this seven year old Readly Express-Lady Killer Gar gelding that has won four straight non-groupe races in France among his 13 wins in 19 starts in France for 393,541€.

Reportedly Paul Philippe Ploquin will drive Don Fanucci Zet in the Elitloppet. He drove this horse twice in the Vincennes Winter Meet that included a third place finish in the Prid de France.

In Sweden May 15) the Rune  Johanssons Grand Prix at Orebro saw the good mare Allegiant (4f Tactical Landing-Too Good For You-Yankee Glide) won her first race for new owners Eagles Rising AB for trainer Daniel Reden and driver Orjan Kihlstrom.

She was timed in 1.12.4kr, slowing to a jog at the end after being clocked at 1.08.4kr at the 1000 meter mark and 1.09.9kr at the 1500, as the 1.18/1 odds favorite. She was bred in the US by Atlantic Trot and Steve Stewart.
