Harness racing hits Rangiora again today with 10 races on the card . The racing starts at 11:25am and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good afternoon of racing.

Best Value:  R6   Country Gold

Race 1

Captain Christian (2) Big stable respect and has been good at trials. Should go close
Street Fighter (5) Has ability and should begin quickly. Good enough to be a win chance
Arden Seascape (6) Ok at trials and wide draw the only concern here. In the mix here

Race 2

Beverley Courtney (7) Has not had a lot of luck and better than form suggests. Include
Swift Guy (9) Will be fitter and conditions suit here. One of the better chances in the race
Ultura (12) Trainer has a good record with debut runners. Top three chance here fresh

Race 3

Peaknmonkey (9) Won easy last start and should go on with it here. Good run expected
Without Comparison  (6) Ok last start and a threat to these with a good run in transit
Loveyou To Da Skye (8) Manners the key and mobile will help. Can sneak into the top three

Race 4

Westar Molly (1) Solid seond last start and a winning chance again from the draw. Include
Krystal Delight (7) Has gate speed and goes well the track. Should give a good account
Ideal Chevron (11) Out of form but improver with a place chance at longer odds. Top three

Race 5

Paddy McDaddy (3) Galloped last start in a stronger field. Top selection in this
Kashanova (8) Easy win last start and well placed here. Good each way chance again
Nobilo (1) Will be fitter after last start. Trailing draw and should get a soft trip. Include

Race 6

Country Gold (11) Good against a similar field last start. Chance at longer odds in this
Mick Almighty (7) Great form and freshened. Winning claims with the right trip. Include
Mythical (1) Freshened and drawn well here. Needs to step but clearly has a motor. Needed

Race 7

Celestial Sea (5) Good win here last start. Might go forward again and can go back to back
Elektra King (13) Tricky draw but should go close to placing in this. Stable in good form
Spirit Downunder (9) In winning form and draw the only concern. Top three chance

Race 8

Ivona Dadic (1) Best draw and will be running on. Goes close here with a trailing run
Major Happy (12) Decent motor and has been freshened. One of the better chances in this
Sofia Rose (8) Only fair last start. Will continue to improve and place hope again here

Race 9

Crown The Moment (2) Best form in the field and will be running on. Good draw for this
Pyramid Rose (6) Decent motor and mobile a big assist. Can give cheek with no mistakes
Midnight Diamond (3) Galloped late last start. Will continue to improve and place chance

Race 10

Miki Bennett (5) Has raced well in better fields. Drawn ok here and looks a good bet in this
Shake A Leg (13) Tricky draw but better than most in this field. Has to be respected in this
Delightful Dreams (8) Wide draw but can do some work mid race. Could surprise fresh
