Guarantees galore at Hoosier Park

ANDERSON, Ind.—May 20, 2025— Harrah’s Hoosier Park will kick off its week of harness racing in style, with a quintet of five-figure guarantees highlighting the 14-race card on Wednesday, May 21.

With a trio of carryovers from the card on Saturday, May 17 – Harrah’s Hoosier Park will offer guarantees on the carryover pools in the Early Pick 5, Early Pick 4 and Pick 6.

The card will kick off with a $20,000 guarantee in the Early Pick 5 (races 1-5) which features a carryover of $3,602.91.

The Pick 6 went unsolved for the entirety of last week’s festivities, generating a carryover of $4,557.04 with that pool being guaranteed at $15,000 in races 4-9.

The Early Pick 4 (races 6-9) features a carryover of $5,702.45, with that pool being guaranteed at $30,000 on Wednesday.

Additionally, the Wednesday card will once again offer its traditional guarantees of $10,000 on both the Late Pick 4 (races 11-14) & Late Hoosier High 5 (race 14).

With the revisions made to the Harrah’s Hoosier Park wagering menu in 2025, all Pick 4 and High 5 pools offer an industry low takeout of 12%, while Pick 5 and Pick 6 sequences have been reduced to 15% this season.

The Wednesday guarantees are done in partnership with the USTA’s Strategic Wagering Program and the Indiana Standardbred Association.

The Wednesday card sees 136 horses in the entry box over 14-races, with 11 full 10-horse fields and no race slated to go to the gate with fewer than eight starters.

Free online programs are made available nightly on the Hoosier Park website by clicking on the racing tab. The Hoosier Park website additionally offers free access to race replays, while qualifier replays are made available on the Hoosier Park AV YouTube channel.
