ASVT Trottex to Pasha Newport and Vasterbo Carretera

Two divisions of the ASVT Trottex Auktionslopp headlined today’s Solvalla harness racing program.

The ASVT Trottex Auktionslopp (purse to winner 200,000SEK, 2140 meters autostart, nine starters three year old males) saw  5.6/1 odds Pasha Newport  (3m Maharajah-Witchey Woman-Donato Hanover) score timed in 1.13.2kr with Robin Bakker aboard for trainer Thomas Bos and owner Peter S. ter Borgh.

This was his third win in four 2025 starts after two winless 2024 appearances. Googoo Fairytale (3g Googoo Gaagaa-Lady Saga-Cantab Hall) was second at 4.7/1with Ulf Ohlssom driving for trainer Markus Pihlstrom. 

You Bow To No One (3g Nuncio-Volontary Simplcty-Cantab Hall) was third at 8.1/1 odds with Claes Sjostron aboard.

In the ASVT Trottex Auktionslopp (purse to winner 200,000SEK, 2140 meters autostart, 12 starters three year old females) the 1,68/1 odds favorite Vasterbo Carretera (3f Maharajah-VasterboStreetlite-Vikings Way) scored impressively in 1.13.1kr with Rikard N. Skoglund driving for trainer Sybille Tinter.

She now has four wins in six 2025 outings and five career wins in eight starts. Cala Karamell (3f Power-Confetti As-Conway Hall) was next at 3.79/1 odds driven by Magnus A. Djuse  for trainer Mattias  Djuse. Third home was 57.3/1 odds Bonsse Garde (3f Makethemark-Steady Brodde-Ready Cash) for driver Carl Johan Jepson and conditioner Fredrik Wallin. In the full field Ford Motor Company – Lilla Harpers (purse to winner 150,000SEK, 3140 meters voltstart, 15 starters) th Ohksson fore 4.53/1 odds David Bowie (4m Googoo Gaagaa-Summer Bi-Varenne)scoredtimedin 1.14.1kr. 

Trainer Bjorn Goop handled the three time career winner in 11 starts.  Oviedo Base (7m Peps Dubrio-Colibri Slipper-Sancho Panca) was second at 3.6/1 odds with Micha Brouwer at the lines for trainer Danny Brouwer. Third to the line was 14.7/1 odds Hugo Boss Shadow (6g Orlando Vici-Sindy Shadow-Lindy Lane) reined by Ulf Ohlsson for trainer Ulf Stenstromer.

Tomorrow at Solvalla features the Sweden Cup that  has three eliminations and a final for 600,000SEK to the winner. It is a Gr. II International test. The Gr. International Harper Hanovers is on the card going for 1,000,000SEK to the winner of the 3140 meter voltstart test. High On Pepper and Kentucky River represent Sweden while It’s A Dollarmaker and Inmarosa lead the FR breds.
