Double Deceiver wins 600,000SEK Sweden Cup

The Sweden Cup Final worth 600,000SEK  to the winner went to the second elim winner Double Deceiver (6g Cantab Hall-Sarcy-Donato Hanover) driven by the red hot Orjan Kihlstrom, his fifth win in the first seven races today, in an easy coast to coast victory.

The Daniel Reden/StallZet trained and owned product was off at 2.34/1 odds and now has 20 career wins in 39 starts for 9,726,926SEK earned. Race time was1.09.4kr over the 1640 meters autostart course. Dancer Brodde (6m Bold Eagle-Dancing in therhall-Cantab Hall), the third elim winner, was second in the final at 4.66/1 odds with Johan Untersteiner aboard, followed by Ideal San Leandro (7g Timoko-Bomba San Leandro-Nice Love) at 6.4/1 odds driven for Richard Westerink by Bjorn Goop.

Below summarizes the three Sweden Cup eliminations. Elim 1 Sweden Cup (purse 100,000SEK to winner, 1640 meters autostart, seven starters) went to 4.66/1 odds Mister Hercules (8m Trixton-Baghdad Dream-Yankee Glide) timed in 1.11.0kr for Orjan Kihlstrom and trainer/owner Daniel Reden/Stall Zet. This was the second 2025 win for Mister Hercules in five starts and the 21st career win for him in 57 starts. Guerrier Castelets (9g Uniclove-Princess Vaumicel-Goetmals Wood) was the rallying just missed second at 6.82/1 for driver Bjorn Goop and trainer Barbara Guenet.

Third home was 2.76/1odds favorite Click Bait (9m Cantab Hall-Fun At Parties-Lindy Lane) handled by Magnus A. Djuse for conditioner Alessandro Gocciadoro followed by In Love Mearas (7g Cantab Hall-Khan Manee-Muscles Yankee) at 36.6/1 with Paul Philippe Ploquin up for trainer Daniel Reden/Stall Zet.

Elim two of the Sweden Cup (same purse/distance as elim 1, seven starters) went to US bred Double Deceiver (6g Cantab Hall-Sarcy-Donato Hanover) timed in 1.10.3kr as the 3.11/1 odds second favorite.

Orjan Kihlstrom teamed the Daniel Reden/Stall Zet trained and owned product. Ideal San Leandro (7g Timoko-Bomba San Leandro-Nice Love) was second at 2.93/1  favorite odds handled by Bjorn Goop for trainer/owner Richard Westerik. Eolo Jet (5m Wishing Stone-Upupa Jet-Credit Winner) landed third at 10.3/1 odds with Magnus A. Djuse driving the Gocciadoro trainee, followed by fourth finishing Devilish Hill (5g Muscle Hill-Devilish Delight-Father Patrick) at 4.6/1 with Magnus Teien Gundersen aboard.

In the third Sweden Cup elim the 4.2/1 odds Dancer Brodde (6m Bold  Eagle-Dancing In the hall-Cantab Hall) rallied from last at the 1200 meter mark going three wide in the last turn following Gamin Jaba. He then kept advancing in the lane for a close victory reined by trainer Johan Untersteiner.

The winner was timed in 1.10.9kr and recorded his 15th career win in 39 starts. Y.Not Diamant (5g Odessa Santana-Nightwish Diamant-SJs  Photo) set thepace and held second at 2.5/1 favorite odds with Robin Bakker driving for Paul J.P. Hagoort. Gamin Jaba (9g Kesaco Phedo-Otika Vita-Gai d’Hautmoniere) was  a game third at 15.9/1 odds with Rikard N. Skoglund handling this Daniel Reden/Stall Zet trainee. Missle Hill (10m Muscle Hill-India Hall-Garland Lobell) was  home fourth at 12.4/1 for Paul Philippe Ploquin aboard for Daniel Reden/Stall Zet.

On the undercard today was the STL Diamantstoet (purse to winner 500,000SEK, 1640 meters autostart, 10 starters mares ages 5-8) named by Courant AB/Joviality saw Kihlstrom win his fourth in the first six races this day at Solvalla, this one with 2.5/1 odds Olly Haleryd (7f Trixton-Picture FH-SJs Photo) timed in 1.09.8kr. The Daniel Reden trainee is owned by StallNakta Eijest Easyand and she now sports 17 career wins in 32 starts, Thisbested her previous career mark of 1.09.9kr. Nortolanda (5f Bird Parker-You’veGot Mail-Love You)was second at 13.7/1 for Michel F. Rothengatter the driver/trainer. The 13.1/1odds Felicia  Zet (7f Ready Cash-Pampered Princess-AndoverHall) was third with Rikard  F. Skoglund handling the Daniel Reden/Stall Zet product.
