Mellby Jinx, Don Fanucci Zet take Elitloppet eliminations

The Elitloppet harness racing eliminations are in the book with race summaries as follows.

The Elitloppet Elim 1 (Stig H Johanssons Pokal, purse to winner 250,000SEK,1609 meters autostart, eight starters) went to 5.43/1  odds Mellby Jinx (7g Ready Cash-Heaven’s Door-Muscle Hill) timed in1.08.8kr with Mats E. Djuse driving for Daniel Wajersten and Mellby Gard AB.

Go On Boy (9m Password-Balginette-Hasting) was second at 3.6/1 odds with trainer Romain Derieux aboard.

Third was A Fair Day (6gMaharajah-Jolene Day-Glen Kronos) with Francesco Zet (7m Father Patrick-Shaqline-Credit Winner) capturing the final spot to the final with Orjan Kihlstom up.

MELBY JINX REPLAY

The Elitloppet Elim2 (Stig H Johanssons Pokal, purse to winner250,000SEK,1609 meters autostart, eight starters) was a controlled victory timed in 1.10.1kr for pacesetter Don Fanucci Zet (9m Hard Livin-Kissed By The West-Western Terror) reined by Paul Philippe Ploquin for Daniel Reden/Stall Zet.

The winner, off at 4.03/1 odds now sports 30 career wins in 59 starts for 16,913,913SEK. Home second was Borups Victory (7m Googoo Gaagaa-Boruops Julia-Naglo) that finished strongly for trainer/driver Daniel Wajersten. 

Third finisher was packet sitting Hohneck (8m Royal Dream-Caranca-Ready Cash) with Gabrielle Gelormini up for Philippe Allaire the owner/trainer. Massimo Hoist (6m Muscle Hill-Venice-Quite Easy) was fourth and in the final with Hannu Torvinen up for trainer Jukka Hakkarainen.

Australia’s The Locomotive was fifth.
