Harmony du Rabutin wins Vichy Feature

Today’s featured Prix de la Source Vichy Celetire (purse 57,000€, 3225 meters distance  handicap, 10 International starters ages 4-11) at Vichy went to 5.5/1 odds Harmony du Rabutin (8f Royal Dream-Taiga de Vive-Indy de Vive) timed in 1.12.8kr with Serge Peltier driving for trainer G.R. Huguet and Ecurie du Rabutin.

The winning mare recorded her 15th career victory in 42 starts good for 317,400€ earned. The 7/10 odds favorite Ibiki de Houelle (7m Love You-Sawasde de Houelle-Gazouillis) was a steady second handicapped 25 meters reined by Eric Raffin for trainer Franck Leblanc and owner Daniel Augereau.

Third home was16/1 Danger Bi (6m Bird Parker-Top Model Bi) driven by Paul Philippe Ploquin for H.E. Bondo training for Az. Agr. Biasuzzi. Inato Pierji (7g  Uniclove) overcamea 25 meter penalty to finish fourth at 15/1 for pilot David Bekaert.

Coming up later this week at Laval is the sixth leg of the traveling Grand National du Trot series.  16 horses will travel 2850  meters distance handicap to seek the 90,000€ in this Gr. III test.
