Boyd gets a six-pack

Driver Braxten Boyd dominates with six wins at Tioga Downs on Friday (June 13).

Braxten Boyd was first with Fashion Terror, Always A Way, Hes Really Keen, Scotnroll, Crystal Coast, and Downtown Tonight.

Fox Valley Leah (Todd Warren) captures the $12,000 featured fillies & mares pace

PL Princess C (Jeff Long) took the early lead but Blue Point (Tyler Miller) took over and was first to the quarter in :28.1.  Fox Valley Leah ($3.10) went to the front with a lap to go and led to half in :57.0.  April Ava (Jim Pantaleano) came first-up to challenge going down the backstretch.  Fox Valley Leah remained the leader and was first to three-quarters in 1:25.4.

As they reached the stretch Blue Point went all out after the leader but Fox Valley Leah was too strong and won easily in 1:54.3.  Quarrel ( Mike Merton) finished third.

Fox Valley Leah is a 5-year-old mare by Somebeachsomewhere.  She is owned by Lester Peters and trainer Todd Warren.  It was her fourth win this season.  She now has 21 career victories.

Tioga Downs returns to live racing on Saturday (June 14) with a post time of 6:15 p.m.
