Smart filly Miss Ohana (Art Major) scored her most important win when she led all the way to take out the Harness Racing New South Wales 3YO Trotters Foundation Final at Menangle on Saturday night.

Perfectly driven by Will Rixon the well behaved Miss Ohana was taken to the lead taking over from the other reliable trotter San Juan Mountain.
Kenny’s Son was racing third and favourite Lotus Louise settled fourth for driver Robert Morris.
The rest of the field made a number of mistakes throughout the event and it was obvious that these four would have the race to themselves.
Miss Ohana still led on the final bend with Lotus Louise looming prominently as the main danger. San Juan Mountain looked to go for an inside run but seemed reluctant to take the gap and Miss Ohana fought back.
MISS OHANA JUN 14 REPLAY
Lotus Louise issued one last challenge but Miss Ohana held on to by half a head with San Juan Mountain taking third placing.

Miss Ohana is prepared by young Shepparton trainer Courtney Laker who purchased the filly at the Sydney sales on the advice of David Moran. She races the filly with her brother Shannon and aunt Carmen Mifsud.
Courtney has achieved success with talented pacer Curly James and at just twenty years old has a bright future as a trainer.
It was disappointing to see so many of the runners galloping at various stages but at least New South Wales is continuing to provide support to the young trotters.
Miss Ohana will now feature for the forthcoming fillies classics but she will face strong opposition from New South Wales Derby and Oaks winner Gatesys Gem.
The win also gave star reinsman Will Rixon a double as in the previous effort he was successful with My Crackling Rosie (Art Major) who won the mares race.
