The all powerful Emma Stewart has taken out yet another juvenile classic when bay colt Dynamite Dan (Somebeachsomewhere) gave a faultless harness racing display to take out the $150,000 APG Sydney Sales Graduate Series Two year old colts and geldings final at Menangle on Saturday evening.

Driver Luke McCarthy was forced to use a bit more speed in the first quarter was then able to rate the gelding perfectly before allowing him to run his last quarter in 26.6 seconds and an impressive mile rate of 1.54.3.
DYNAMITE DAN JUN 14 REPLAY
At his debut when contesting his heat Dynamite Dan had a torrid run before losing narrowly to A Buck Ten who was also in the Final.
Dynamite Dan started a hot favourite but there was support for A Buck Ten with some punters confident that he could win the Final.
His driver Brian Portelli was able to take a one out and one back trail from his wide draw and he set out after Dynamite Dan on the final bend. However with the run under his belt, Dynamite Dan raced clear and he was able to win by just under fifteen metres from A Buck Ten with outsider Bellamy’s Last finishing a distant third.
On his performance Dynamite Dan will press claims for a start in the Group 1 Protostar for two year olds at Albion Park on July 12 and which is shaping to be a top class field.
The $150,000 Fillies division was taken out in splendid style by the highly promising Bettor’s Creation (Bettors Delight) who ran her rivals off their legs in an all the way win.

On the strength of her Heat win at Menangle at her first start, Bettor’s Creation was considered as the only one to beat. Showing great speed early on Bettor’s Creation beat off an early challenge from Impermissable and from that point was never seriously threatened.
The consistent Myra’s Mint prepared by Anton Golino who is now based at Menangle was able to take a trail behind Bettor’s Creation.
BETTORS CREATION JUN 14 REPLAY
When Bettor’s Creation cleared away on straightening, Myra’s Mint tried to make a race of it but was clearly beaten by the better filly on the night. Im No Stranger was third.
Bettor’s Creation is prepared by local Menangle trainer Jarrod Alchin and he has an above average filly who will be prominent in the forthcoming two year old fillies classics.
