Everyone’s favourite pacer Leap To Fame (Bettors Delight) gave yet another breathtaking harness racing display in grinding his rivals into the ground in the Third Heat of the Ladbrokes Inter Dominion Pacing championship at Albion Park on Saturday evening.

The only issue was when driver Grant Dixon would be able to extricate Leap To Fame from his awkward draw on the inside of the second row.
And Dixon took no chances by easing back to the rear and then coming one off before setting off around the field with his customary burst.
Jonny Cox on the New Zealander Pinseeker wisely gave away the lead and then proceeded to stalk behind Leap To Fame.
From then on Leap To Fame simply toyed with his rivals and showing his trademark qualities he moved away at the top of the home straight to record an effortless win over Pinseeker who battled on well with Pete Said So along the rails for third.
LEAP TO FAME JULY 5 REPLAY
Evergreen veteran Max Delight ran his usual consistent race in holding out for fourth position.
Leap To Fame’s mile rate of 1.52 was the fastest of the three heats.

Driver Grant Dixon was satisfied after the event.
“He done it really well. I was really happy the way he through to the line and how he travelled in the run.”
“We put them in for the long distance races just to keep him a bit settled. That done the trick. He’ll probably have them for all the races in this campaign.”
“I think the track is particularly quick tonight. He seems to be switching on a bit more than in recent times.”
“Trista and I have got him up there now and its just a matter of ticking him over. With racing he keeps himself pretty right. He’ll enjoy having the three runs in a row.”
“I would have loved the final to be 2600 metres. But everyone is going to be in the same boat. It might be their first time over it. Just hoping he doesn’t get run at some stage and forget its another lap to go.”
At this stage Leap To Fame is likely to start a very short priced favourite for the $1 Million Final on July 19.
