ADIOS PICK-6 TO BE OFFERED
The Meadows announces the addition of a Pick-6 wager on Adios Day, that will include the Grade 1 Delvin Miller Adios Pace for the Orchids as one of the harness racing legs. The 50-cent base wager will have a takeout rate of 15%. A guaranteed pool for the bet, along with other guaranteed wagering pools spread throughout the card, will be announced soon.
CALLING ALL ADIOS SUPPLEMENTAL ENTRIES
Horse owners are reminded that supplemental entries to the Grade 1 Adios are accepted. The cost is $35,000 and it is due with the declaration to start. The entry box for Adios eliminations will close at 9:00am on Wednesday, July 16, with the races to be contested on Saturday, July 19. For additional information, contact The Meadows’ Race Office.
GLADA RACE SET FOR THURSDAY
Another leg of the Great Lakes Amateur Drivers Association trotting series will take place at The Meadows on Thursday. The event is set as race #9 on the 13-race card. In the most recent local GLADA race, 22-year-old Elizabeth Snyder, daughter of longtime Meadows trainer/driver Doug Snyder, earned her first parimutuel win behind Spicy Nugget, a trotter trained by her father.
REGULAR RACING SCHEDULE THIS WEEK
Hollywood Casino at The Meadows will race its regular 4-card per week schedule this week. Action will take place on Wednesday and Thursday at 12:45pm. Friday’s card will begin at 5:10pm, while Saturday’s races will start at 12:45pm.
