Dancingonmoonlight’s class of 2025

11 July 2025
in New Zealand, Top 4
by Dancingonmoonlight Farm
0

Four Stallions – Four Breeders Crown titles – 100 wins between them – $9,500,000 in combined stake earnings, and a combined 17 Group One harness racing wins!

Bettor’s Wish – $8,500+gst (polf)

Bettor’s Wish

A Sire on the way up!

The debut crop of Bettor’s Wish 2yo’s in Australasia are ticking all the right boxes at just the right time!

Bettor’s Wish is putting a very compelling list of evidence to the jury on who will be the number one son at stud left by the King himself in Bettors Delight.

2025 saw the first crop of 2yo’s step out in Australasia and they wasted no time in showing up, being represented by Burt and Angelic Copy in the very first 2yo races scheduled in New Zealand in January.

Angelic Copy remains unbeaten in 3 race day starts with other Bettor’s Wish progeny Buddy Guy and Secret Wish picking up 2yo race day wins also.

Currently the leading first season 2yo sire in Australia on average earnings, Bettor’s Wish is the sire of two quality stakes winning filly’s, Wishing Belle and Ma Petite Dame who both look to have a very bright future….as does Methuselah, who is a recent high price purchase out of southland, headed to West Australian owners, after qualifying well for Lauren Pearson on behalf of the Macca Lodge Team!

Bettor’s Wish is now the sire of over $7million in progeny earnings averaging around $70,000 per starter from just his third crop of racing age this year!

Bettor’s Wish is the sire of 12 in 1:50.4 or faster in the USA including millionaire Better Is Nice $1,113,433 1:48.0 and Twisted Destiny who just took out the first leg of the pacing triple crown, $200,000 Messenger at Yonkers on a half mile track.

His progeny have everything we thought they would and more.
Bettor’s Wish came highly recommended to the down under market by two legends of the game, Chris Ryder and Dexter Dunn and now we are starting to see why!

Carry on the Kiwi connection with Bettor’s Wish, who represents exceptional value this season at $8,500+gst (polf) Discounts Apply!

Tactical Landing – P.O.A

Tactical Landing

Trotting Blue Blood Royalty!

He’s left the highest caliber progeny everywhere in the world that he has been available, It’s only a matter of when for down-under, not if!!

Tactical Landing’s siring career is one of real International success!
Very rarely have we seen a North American bred trotter have such an impact on a “global” scale like Tactical Landing.

In 2024 a decision was voted in favor by the members of the SETF French Trotter Herdbook Commission, who met to study the proposed regulatory changes and the conditions of registration in the said book of offspring born in 2026 from the crossing of French Trotteur mares with the American stallion Tactical Landing (Muscle Hill).

Tactical Landing being accepted into the French studbook marks a major evolution in global trotting breeding. It’s a rare and strategic decision by French authorities, reflecting both his elite pedigree and the changing dynamics of international trotting.

Tactical Landing stands in one of the most competitive trotting states in N.A where his progeny competes at the highest level against the likes of trotting greats Walner and Muscle Hill.

In North America his 2025 crop of 2yo’s marks his 4th crop of racing age and already he is about to tick over $17million in progeny earnings there alone.

He was voted the 2023 USTA Trotting Sire Of The Year, he is the first trotter in modern history to sire back to back Hambletonian Winners from his first 2 crops at stud, he has 4 millionaires to his name already and currently is the sire of the fastest 3yo filly in North America, Yo Tillie 1:51.0

In New Zealand, Tactical Landing has had such small numbers of racing age but is running on a 75% winners to runners percentage with 8 starters and 6 individual winners across the country…keep an eye out for the back half of this season with a number of progeny in work that are impressing their trainers!!

In Australia it is a similar story of low crop numbers, 7 to the races with 4 individual winners including Kyvalley Maven 4 wins incl G3 2yo win and Ruby’s Dream 8 starts for 5 wins!

If you would like to know more about what deals we can offer for Tactical Landing this year than please get in touch via email or phone!
