The Warrawee Needy success story continues unabated…..
The Yirribee Stud stallion left nine individual harness racing winners in July including four three-year-old winners.
SHES A WARRAWEE REPLAY
They include Our Goat, a winner in 1:51.9 and 1:52.3 over the flying mile at Albion Park lifting his stakemoney to $120,000 and the Menangle three-year-old filly winner She’s A Warrawee (1:52.4), who has won six of her 13 lifetime starts.
Warrawee Needy was also represented by the Wagga three-year-old victor Personified (1:55.8), the Bathurst two-year-old winner Nothing Finer (1:59), the three-year-olds Mammal’s Blaze 1:58.8 (Bathurst) and Young Nelson (Parkes) and the Globe Derby Park winner Fly The Banner (1:58.7).
Cattlewash 1:46.8 ($1.3 million), whose frozen semen is available from Yirribee Stud, has produced spectacular results with his first two crops in North America.
He is currently second on the two-year-old stakemoney list and is clearly the leading sire of three-year-olds on average earnings per foal.
Cattlewash’s oldest stock of three-year-olds has banked almost $2.2 million from only 38 foals – an average of an amazing $57,700 per foal.
His second crop as two-year-old has earned $640,000 to date.
Cattlewash has two in the 1:50 list, 34 in 1:55 and nine $100,000 earners halfway through the season.
