Ace reinsman Cameron Hart has been in devastating form recently and harness racing patrons were treated to a polished display when he took out a winning quartet at Menangle on Saturday evening.

Hart’s first win was with crack mare Bella Danza (Bettors Delight) who led all the way to take out the listed Norms Daughter Mares classic.

Following up from her strong win the week prior Bella Danza was favourite and after a short tussle with My Cracklin Rosie was able to ease her way to the lead.

From then onwards she was never in any danger and Hart kept the mare going to record a two metre win over My Cracklin Rosie with Zenxena third and running 1.51.5 in the process.

Bella Danza has always shown ability her two recent wins in succession suggest that the mare is in rare form.

Hart’s next win was on She’s A Warrawee who like Bella Danze led all the way in the time honoured  Harness Breeders New South Wales Pink Diamond Stakes.

Auntie Lou showed exceptional early speed but at the same time She’s A Warrawee was hunted up early by Hart and she didn’t have much trouble taking up the running. Favourite Peace Out was third early but driver Lleyton Green avoided the picket to race up near the leaders.

However She’s a Warrawee had plenty in reserve and she simply sprinted clear to draw away for a six metre win over Auntie Lou with Peace Out in third placing. The filly ran the mile in 1.52.2. The win also continued the excellent winning run of trainer Jarred Alchin who specialises in youngsters and he looks to have a promising prospect in She’s A Warrawee.

Hart’s treble came the way of the Darren Binskin trained Classic Mission (Vincent) who was coming off the back of a win at Menangle last Monday.

Again displaying supreme confidence Hart allowed Classic Mission to go to the front and he rated the five year old gelding to perfection. Promising had the trail behind the leader but could not get close as Classic Mission moved away on the final bend to record a four metre win over Promising with Montefiore in third placing.

Classic Mission a New Zealand bred gelding was formerly trained by Andy Gath in Victoria before joining Binskin’s Condell Park stables.

Punters showed their confidence in Hart going for a fourth win abroad Caulonia Courage (Courage Under Fire) and he didn’t let them down but not before engaging in a tactical battle with Will Rixon on Springfield Affair.

This time Hart allowed Springfield Affair to take up running electing to take a sit with Caulonia Courage. Springfield Affair tried to move clear on the final bend but Hart eased out on Caulonia Courage and he just had a bit more in reserve to defeat Springfield Affair by a head with Jalaneel a distant third.

Caulonia Courage is trained by Troy Williams who has been prominent with his team.

Currently Hart is involved in an intriguing State drivers championship with Robert Morris and Will Rixon. Thanks to his quartet of victories he has now in front with 116 wins with both Morris and Rixon on 114 each.

The metropolitan title is a battle with Luke McCarthy and now Hart has 32 wins just ahead of McCarthy on 31. The season still has nearly five months so there will be some competitive driving between the leading reinsmen.

However Hart has shown that when the chips are down he has that special touch to get that bit extra from his drives and now that he in front he will take beating for both titles.
