Harness racing hits Invercargill again today with 10 races on the card. The racing starts at 11:50pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Best Bet:  R8   To The Moon And Back

Best Value:  R4   He’s No Romeo

Race 1

Jay Bee Hill (3) Top driver booked and recent form is ok. Can run top three with manners
Majestic Challen (7) Should begin quickly and small track will suit. One for longer odds
Majic N The Port (5) Getting better with racing and tidy second last start. In the mix here

Race 2

Mr President (10) Top driver on board and nearly 50% place record on the track. Needed
The Wulver (5) Has early speed to be one of the leaders if they go forward. One for odds
Jaccka Evan (13) Improver from his last start but tricky draw here. Top three chance with luck

Race 3

Rise Up N Dance (5) Looked a run short last start and improver for this. Better run expected
Sargent Best (1) Has been disappointing but will get a good run in transit here. Could surprise
Magic Sign (4) Good effort last start and better draw. Can sneak into the top three with luck

Race 4

He’s No Romeo (4) Solid form and a winning chance from the draw. Has to be included here
Burnham Girl (14) Canterbury visitor with a tricky draw. Should give a good account here
Jaccka Henry (6) Out of form but improver with a place chance at longer odds. Driver change

Race 5

Mixed Faith (2) Fought on last start and well placed here. Good beginner with each way claims
Lil Whip (4) Had excuses last start and well placed here. Dangerous if she can lead them up here
Emily (1) Will be fitter after last start. Trailing draw and should get a soft trip. Good top three hope

Race 6

Aint No Angel (6) Goes best in front and has gate speed. Hard to beat if she can find the front
Raspalia (9) Should get a soft pegs run here. Winning claims with any gaps in the straight
Flying Bird (1) Due to show form and drawn well here. Driver change and could surprise

Race 7

Our Twinkle (5) Running on ok last start and top driver booked. Chances look good in this
Party Up Denario (11) Tricky draw but should go close to placing in this. Winning claims
Rakamick (8) Out of form but better than that. Top three chance at longer odds here

Race 8

To The Moon And Back (11) Huge ability if in the right mood. Will push the favourite here
Have A Little Faith (9) Will start a short favourite and good last start. One of the better chances
Muscle Mist (5) Battled on last start. Will continue to improve and place hope again here

Race 9

Haley Jaccka (3) Good draw and top driver on board. Will need the right trip but has winning claims
Tabasco (8) Decent motor but wide draw here. One of the better chances if he gets a tow into the race
Always Dreaming (6) Only fair last start but will be fitter here. Will continue to improve and needed

Race 10

Always Be Batman (9) Has raced better fields. Drawn the fence and looks a good chance. Needed
Saucy Delight (4) Better than most in this field and will go forward. Has to be respected again in this
Rightazz (1) Good finish last start but not sure the draw suits. Can win if he stays handy to the speed
