Enjoy takes Istvan Szent DIJ …Powerful!!!

Enjoy (5m Maharajah-Journey Boko-Zola Boko) overcame  a 60 meter handicap, swept the field for an easy 1.15.7kr timed harness racing victory in  the Istvan Szent DIJ (purse 3,000,000Huf,1960meters distance handicap volt start, seven starters ages 3-5) at Kincsem Park (Budapest).

He won this event in 2024 in record time 1.14.6kr. Imre Fazekas teamed the Bernadett Balogh trainee that Prolongo III owns. Enjoy now sports 14 career  wins in 25 starts for 26,635,000Huf earned. He has four wins in seven 2025 starts and was off the 1.8/1 odds favorite.

Giovanni Fling (3g Chelsea Boko-Veronica Fling-Racino)  was second at 1.9/1 with trainer Veljko Mazsity driving the Hico owned performer. Kabala Menes Kft bred Giovanni Fling. Friday Night (4m Tuonoblu Rex-Sultana Jet-Igor Font) was third at 2.8/1 driven by trainer Emil Csordas in his second starts after being acquired locally. Gyorgy Horvath bred this one.

On  the undercard  was the Janos  Szalay Memorial (purse 2,000,000Huf, 1800 meters autostart, eight two year old starters) with victory to 1.20.9kr timed Hermes History  (2m Who’s Who-Digital History-Super Photo Kosmos) at 2.1/1 odds. Balazs Juhasz trains and teamed the winner in his first  start off a qualifier.

Gyorgy Pekker bred the winner that defeated 7.4/1 Have A Dream (2, Unno del Duomo-Urania RG-Racino) with Andor Angyal the trainer/driver. Third was 33.6/1 Hercegno K (2f  Calypso Capar-Bonjour Evo-Donato Hanover)  with trainer Laszlo Kolozsi at the lines. The race record is 1.19.3kr set in 2023 by Fabrice with Imre Fazekas aboard. Enjoy won this race in 2022.
