Three harness racing races on today’s Kincsem Park (Budapest) card were trots carying purses of 1,000,000HUF of more. The V Sport Lovi – 111th Hungaria DIJ (purse 4,000,000Huf, six starters ages 3-7, 2560 meters distance handicap) went to Germany’s Days Of Thunder (7m SJs Caviar-Donatella Comtesse-Donato Hanover) timed in 1.18.3kr and off at 5.2/1 odds.

He was handicapped 60 meters. Marisa Brock teamed the Robert Gramuller trainee for Stall Holzapfel & Marcusson as he advanced career earnings to 92,059,888Huf with this first start and triumph in HU. Home second was 3/1 odds Freya T Boko (4f Campo Bahia-Jasmine F Boko-Trixton) handled by Goran Zolnaji for trainer Adrian Burany that faced a 40 meter handicap.
Third was 2.2/1 favorite Orlando Paladino (3m Orlando Vici-Donna Granata-Corleone) with Christoph Schwatz aboard for Robert Gramuller and Stall Wisherof. Gionanni Fling and Ginerva were fourth and fifth. Enzo Jet was sixth, this one owned by Nikola Jokic’s Dream Catcher.
The Istvan Szegedy Memorial (purse 1,200,000Huf, 1960 meters distance handicap, 10 starters) saw 4.3/1 odds El Valle Sagrado (6g Nuncio-Urubamba-Maharajah) score timed in 1.17.0kr handled by his trainer Attila Budai.

This was his12th career win in 41 starts and sixth 2025 victory in 11 outings. He defeated the1.5/1favorite Daytona Spav (6f Maharajah-Tenerezza Bigi-Nad Al Sheba) with trainer Veljko Mazsity up. Third was the 20meter handicapped Palace Bo (6m Muscle Hill-Jasmina-Abano As) reined by Lajos Marton for Bernadett Balogh and Prolongo III.
The race day’s featured Kincem+Tuti-Jozsef Marschall Memorial (Gr III, purse 9,000,000Huf,1800 meters autostart) Marisa Bock was back in the winner’s circle with 6.1/1 odds Ois Tschikago (5m Orlando Vici-Ultrafast-Valley Guardian) that scored impressively in a quick 1.12.3kr.

This was his first win in HU and he is trainer by Robert Gramuller for Stall Lindiger.

He came into this race off four straight wins the fastest in 1.12.5kr at Berlin Mariendorf two weeks ago. The winner looks like is dam sire Valley Guardian that stood stud successfully in HU and was bred in the US by the late Bill Weaver in New Jersey. Finishing second was 4.7/1 Enjoy (5m Maharajah-Journey Boko-Zola Boko) who came from far back blocked on the pegs to close less than a length back for Imre Fazekas, trainer Bernadett Balogh and Prolongo III. The third finisher was Dream Catcher (Jokic)/Sernicoli owned and 5.5/1 Catullo Jet (7m Maharajah-Perche’ No Jet-Pine Chipdriven by Carmine Piscuoglio for Vladimir Pribic of Serbia.
The 1.4/1 odds favorite Uccellone (6m Corleone-Zora Island-Fast Photo) was fourth for Christoph Schwarz, trainer Gramuller and Stall Wieserhof.
Quite a race day it was in Hungary and for the Gramuller trainees from Germany.
