Harness racing hits Auckland again today with 9 races on the card. The racing starts at 5:49pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good night of racing.

Best Bet:  R5   Redpark Warrior

Best Value:  R8   Lincoln Lover

Race 1

Pretty In Pink (6) In form and has been racing better fields. Top three claims with manners
Niamh (10) Mobile will help and should get a run through early.  One for longer odds in this
Brienne (4) Getting better with racing and conditions suit. Can boost up the exotics here

Race 2

Mediator (9) Looked good winning here back in March. Has been freshened and has to be included
Another Collect (1) Has early speed to be one of the leaders and will be fitter. Winning claims
Franco Salah (3) Improver from his last start and drawn better here. Top three chance in this

Race 3

Belle Neige (7) Conditions suit and can run a quick mile. Looks a good bet with perfect manners
American Muscle (6) Freshened and a threat to the favourite with a good run in transit. Include
Matty A (8) Good effort last start but wide draw. Can sneak into the top three if he goes forward

Race 4

Confederate (1) Solid win last start and a winning chance again from the draw. Top selection
Semba (9) Has drawn behind one of the favourites. Should give a good account at longer odds
Proviseur (2) In form but big jump in grade here.  Place chance at longer odds with a cushy trip

Race 5

Redpark Warrior (8) Big run to win last start and has the measure of most of these. Top selection
Chickies Babe (7) On debut with a wide draw.  Stable respect and a good each way chance
Suttle (6) Might have strengthened up a touch. Debut run had merit and has to be included here

Race 6

Princess Gracy (2) Drawn well and easy win last start. Hard to beat against this lot. Needed
Always B Misty (1) Should get a soft run handy from the draw. Include for top three at odds
Im Sandra Dee (5) In good form and likely to push forward at the start. Will stick on here

Race 7

Look To Da Stars (2) Gets a head start on the favourite. Will need manners but could surprise
Pantani (5) Has been disappointing but should go close to placing in this. Winning claims
Crackerjack (8) In good form and wide draw the only concern. Top three chance with luck

Race 8

Lincoln Lover (6) Big drop in class for this and looks hard to beat. Wide draw but can win
Seaside Boss (8) Decent motor and should be improved off his last start third. Winning claims
Lincoln Linda (1) Disappointing last start but comes up with a good draw. One of the better chances

Race 9

Pirayas (3) Will be running on and has not been far away the last few runs. Can go close here
Prohibition (2) Decent motor and is drawn well here. Needs manners but not the worst in this
Im A Rockstar (9) Quick beginner who continues to improve and place hope again here.
