The top performers in Kentucky-bred harness racing clashed in eight $400,000 Championship Series Finals on Sunday, September 14, at The Red Mile, producing standout efforts, significant upsets, and dominant wins across divisions.
Looksgoodinloulou (Sweet Lou) turned the tables on the sport’s top-ranked pacer Miki And Minnie in the three-year-old filly pace, surging late from third to win in 1:48.3 for driver Yannick Gingras and trainer Ron Burke. The Burke-Gingras combination went on to capture two more championships on the day.

Ubrute (Tall Dark Stranger) continued his late-season improvement with a wire-to-wire victory in the freshman male pace, holding off Brandon Blvd and Be Sting to win in 1:49.4, marking his second career victory and a new lifetime mark.

The biggest upset of stakes races came in the two-year-old filly trot, where Country Glide (Tactical Landing), dismissed at 25-1, earned her first win with a determined effort in 1:52.3, narrowly holding off the heavily favored Setyoursightshigh.
COUNTRY GLIDE REPLAY
Sensational sophomore trotter Yo Tillie (Tactical Landing) extended her win streak to 12 with a front-running 1:51 performance in the three-year-old filly trot final. The filly remains unbeaten in 2025 for trainer Andrew Harris.
YO TILLIE REPLAY
In the freshman filly pace, Topville Lucky (Sweet Lou) impressed for the Harris stable, taking the lead after the quarter and controlling the pace to win in 1:50.4.
TOPVILLE LUCKY REPLAY
Endurance (Captain Corey) remained perfect in the Kentucky Championship Series, completing a sweep of the two-year-old male trot division with a decisive win in 1:52.3. Trained by Chris Beaver, the colt has now won six in a row.
ENDURANCE REPLAY
Super Chapter (Chapter Seven) defended his title in the three-year-old colt trot final, grinding first-over to a 1:51.1 win and repeating as Kentucky Champion for trainer Marcus Melander. The son of Chapter Seven was the place finisher in this year’s Hambletonian.
SUPER CHAPTER REPLAY
Sippinonsearoc (Downbytheseaside), continued his return to top form with a commanding 1:48.3 win in the three-year-old male pace. The colt has now won five straight after a slow start to the season.
