Harness racing hits Winton again today with 9 races on the card. The racing starts at 12:42pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Race 1

My Bonnie Lass (4) Has not lived up to trial hype. Can win with no mistakes but 50/50 at start
Majestic Challen (7) Small field will help and should begin quickly. Due a win and has claims
Sonny Jim (1) Getting better with racing and small field will help. Place chance if he begins quickly

Race 2

Ada R J (1) Stable respect and last run super. Has the measure of most of these. Top selection in this
Asian Joker (3) Not the worst here based on Canterbury runs. Can run top three with luck in running.
Mind Philly (6) Improver from her last start and similar field. Top three chance with a better trip

Race 3

South Beach (1) Previous runs against much stronger fields and drawn well here. Hard to beat in this
Rocky Pacific (4) Running home well late last start. Dangerous with a soft run in transit here. Needed
Rakamick (5) Not far away last start and can sneak into the placings again here. Top three claims

Race 4

Chicago Sky (9) Solid run last start in a much stronger field. Winning chance here with gaps. Include
Sandy Shore (1) Has gate speed and stable always hard to beat when traveling south. Needed here
Sugar Babe (3) Canterbury visitor who should give a good showing from the draw. Likely to lead

Race 5

Sargent Best (3) Disappointing last start but tough trip. Better with a sit and one run at them. Include
Robyns Art (11) Had excuses last start and well placed here. Good each way chance and could surprise
Searing Light (14) Will be fitter after last start placing. Tricky draw but not the worst with a cart up

Race 6

Song Sung Blue (8) At his best would be hard to beat. Has terrific closing speed and will be running on
Rock Band (6) Should get a soft run handy. Stable respect here and likely to push forward early. Include
Evangalist (5) Due to show form and drawn well here. Latest trial good and can play a part with luck

Race 7

Lil Whip (8) Manners needed but a good chance with no mistakes at the start. Will be put in the race
Andy Hall (7) Normally steps cleanly and should go close to placing in this. Big track will suit his style
Julie Jaccka (10) Broke last start but has the motor to be a threat at her best. Winning claims here

Race 8

Rightazz (4) Tricky to get a line on and depends which horse turns up. Would go close with his A-game
The Wulver (6) Decent motor but has been disappointing. One for longer odds here. Could surprise
Forever Arden (7) Disappointing last start. Will continue to improve and place hope here with luck

Race 9

Airwaves (4) Dangerous with a soft lead which he might get here. Good last start and can go on with it
Foxfire Easton (1) Decent motor and is drawn well here. One of the better chances from the ace. Include
Goorambat Art (9) Disappointing last start. Pegs draw might help his chances in this. Worth including
