Batavia Downs extends summer/fall meet by four nights

Batavia, NY — The 2025 summer/fall live harness racing meet at Batavia Downs was originally scheduled to conclude on Saturday (Dec. 6). However, management at the track announced today that the New York State Gaming Commission has approved their request to add four additional nights to the racing calendar in December.

Those dates are Wednesday (Dec. 10), Saturday (Dec. 13), Wednesday (Dec. 17) and Saturday (Dec. 20). Post time for those four dates only will be at 5 p.m. The remainder of the schedule will commence at 6 p.m. like it has all season. The additional dates mean there are now 24 race days left this year.
