Sweet Valley (Chris Long) grabs the featured $7,500 trot at Vernon Downs on Saturday (October 25).

Sweet Valley

Discus Hanover (Leon Bailey) flew out of the gate and led to the quarter in :27.2.  He used a :29.3 second quarter to be first to the half in :57.0.  Communion Money (Ron Harp) was the first to challenge as they raced around the final turn.  Discus Hanover was first to three quarters in 1:26.1.

As they reached the stretch Sweet Valley ($5.04) came flying four-wide and blew right on by to win easily in 1:54.4.  Low Inside (Dan Daley) earned second money.  What A Mission (Michael Miller) finished third.

Sweet Valley is a 4-year-old mare by II Sogno Dream.  She is owned by Karma Racing and trained by Rob Harmon.  It was her 10th win this season.  She now has 15 career victories.

Leon Bailey had a driving grand slam.  He got his wins with Bea Nameless, Shop Micki, Special Olivia, and The Hunt Is On.  Dylan had a driving hat trick to go with a training double.

Vernon Downs returns to live racing on Friday (October 31) with a post time of 5:05 p.m.
