Harness racing hits Winton again today with 9 races on the card. The racing starts at 3:35pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good afternoon of racing.

Race 1

Bautista (2) Yet to show his true ability but gets a good chance here. Can run top three in this
Here’s Johny (1) Small field will help and should begin quickly. Needed from the ace draw
Foveaux Gambler (6) Getting better with racing and at his best would go close. Place chance

Race 2

Muscle Dash (4) Good beginner and easier here. Looks a good top three chance in this line-up
Glendhu Mischief (5) Fresh up second was good. Manners needed but in with a place chance
Superfast Lady (6) Improver from her last start second and similar field. Winning claims

Race 3

Seaside Fantasy (11) Trial winner recently in slow time. Looks stronger this time in. Include
Maggie Q (1) Ok last start and a threat to the favourites with a good run in transit. Draw helps
Ada R J (2) Good effort last start and nice draw. Can sneak into the top three again with luck

Race 4

Forever Arden (7) Given up counting how many times he has been unlucky. Fingers crossed
Pounamu (3) Course stats not great but one for longer odds. Should give a good account
Bombay Glacier (1) Out of form but improver with a place chance from the ace draw. Include

Race 5

Our Pinocchio (6) Rare gallop early last start. Top selection and winning claims with manners
Nubliah Chamay (1) Had excuses last start and well placed off the front. Good each way chance
Andy Hall (5) Will be fitter after last start fifth. Has raced better fields and gets his chance here

Race 6

Bring On The Muscle (8) Good against a similar field last start. Hard to beat against this lot
Master Class (2) Should get a soft run handy. Winning claims from the draw. Has to be included
Jimmy Carter (7) Due to show form and mobile a big assist. Can win with no mistakes in transit

Race 7

Share A Dream (5) Racing well and can give a sight in this field. Should be right in the finish
By Chance (2) Much better draw and should go close to placing. Win chance with the right trip
Step It Up A Notch (10) In good form and should get a good through early. Top three chance

Race 8

Axel Rose (9) First two runs were excellent. Wide draw but can win if he gets near the front early
The Merc (1) Decent motor and is drawn well here. One of the better chances with no errors
Bill Bootit (4) Good again last start. Fast beginner from a stand and has to be included in this

Race 9

Passchendaele (7) Building to a win after some good seconds. Wide draw the only concern here
Close (4) Decent motor and likely to push forward early. Should give a good sight in front
Durrant (6) Running on last start. Will continue to improve and can run into the top three with luck
