Itsrockandroll A (A Rockandroll Dance) benefitted from a perfect harness racing trip and won the Blue Hen Open Pace at Bally’s Dover on Thursday night.

Itsrockandroll A finished 2nd in his last four starts and turned upsetter.
Muskateer Hanover, the 1/5 betting favorite, left the quickest off the wings of the starting gate. Itsrockandroll A utilized his inside post to grab a pocket trip.
Muskateer Hanover, who shipped in from Cumberland Run Race Track, set all the race fractions. The opening quarter was blazed in 27. The half was 55.1 a 28.1 quarter. Steven’s Saloon maneuvered 1st over from seventh but could not make up any ground and his bid stalled. The three quarters was clocked in 1:23.1, a 28 quarter. The rest of the field remained in single file positions.
Itsrockandroll A, the ten year old, drew alongside the leader and surged late to win in 1:51.1 by a nose. He paid $12.80 for the upset victory. After the race trainer Don Brittingham cited “He got the perfect trip and that was the difference”

It was a family affair for the Brittingham’s. Itsrockandroll A (A Rockandroll Dance) is owned by Elizabeth (wife) and Bret Brittingham (son) from Camden, Delaware.Tim Tetrick drove and scored his third driving win on the night
Muskateer Hanover finished 2nd and Hundred Dollar Man was third.
There is a Superfecta carry over worth $843 to Monday’s card.
