A big congratulation to the Winton Harness Racing Club for running a hugely successful World Drivers Championship day last Sunday.
Well done to all the volunteers organised by Diane Dynes who spent hours painting and renovating. This will future proof the facility. Special mention to the main man on the brush, Trevor Proctor. Good job Trev.
The racing surface and surrounding grounds were well prepared by caretaker Ian Jamieson and his band of helpers and Sunday’s racing surface was perfect for fast competitive racing.
Well known Southland owner Jim Veint passed away recently.
