Harness racing hits Rangiora again today with 10 races on the card. The racing starts at 2:40pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good afternoon of racing.

Race 1

Don’t Tell Jenny (4) Looks a drop in class today and she is racing well. Can go close with luck
Mouton Cadet (8) Small field will help and should begin quickly. Stable does well in amateur events
Courtney Rose (5) Getting better with racing and could provide an upset with the right trip. Include

Race 2

Something Else (8) Racing well in better fields and notable driver change for this. Good chance
Maroubra (2) Manners the key but he does have the speed to trouble these with a safe getaway
Arden Solitaire (5) Has trialed well but never trotted all the way on race day. One for longer odds

Race 3

Dover Terrace (4) Big run to win two starts ago then had excuses last start. Better run expected
Foveaux Gambler (3) Ok last start and a threat to the favourite with a good run in transit. Needed
Gladys Greenland (8) Good effort last start and can sneak into the top three with luck in transit

Race 4

Radioactive Jaffa (2) Solid fourth last start and a winning chance again from the draw. Include
Ar Gee Rulz (5) Has been racing well and should give a good account if he gets a soft trip here
Do You Wanna Dance (4) Out of form but has been unlucky. Winning claims in this lineup.

Race 5

Billy Kimber (6) Fought on last start in a stronger field and mobile helps. Top three chance here
Bonnie Bagrie (9) Had excuses last start and well placed here. Good each way chance with manners
Paramount Lady (1) Will be fitter after last start third. Likely to start a short favourite and can go close

Race 6

Spirit Of Atlanta (2) Good against a way tougher field last start after working hard. Top selection
Tuppence (5) Should get a soft run handy. Winning claims from the draw and just need luck
Sadie (7) Due to show form and wide draw the only concern. Capable of causing an upset in this

Race 7

Courage Reactor (12) Needs luck from the draw but will be flying late if the gaps come. Include
Shadow Creek (6) Tricky draw but should go close to placing in this if he gets a good trip.
Lord Mudrick (1) Out of form but should get a good run near the speed from the draw. Top three 

Race 8

Suspicious Captain (3) Looks hard to beat based on last start second. Can dominate from the front
Nikolai Ray (8) Decent motor but drawn wide here. One of the better chances if he gets cover
Franco Harlem (1) Fair last start. Will continue to improve and place hope again here from the draw

Race 9

Tyrons Strapping Lad (5) Has been racing good fields. Always a winning chance if he trots smoothly
Waihemo Hannah (4) Decent motor and is drawn well here. Chances improve behind the mobile
Granny Rose (1) Fair last start. Draw suits and he looks a top three player with a trailing run in this

Race 10

Emma Swan (4) Last few runs have had merit. Drawn ok here and looks a good top three chance
Sweet Dreams (3) Nice draw and better than most in this field. Goes close if she can lead early
Million Dollar Chic (7) Plagued by wide draws but could surprise with a cart into the race. Include
