CHARLOTTETOWN, PE – The Thursday night harness racing spotlight shines on a deep Race 11 Fillies & Mares event where the sophomore division queen looks to re-assert her dominance at Red Shores Racetrack and Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park.

Badgirl Bridgette

The Thursday card has 12 dashes beginning at 6 P.M.

The Fillies & Mares Preferred Pace carries a $4,850 purse in race 11 and Badgirl Bridgette has been a force all season long, and the superstar daughter of Stonebridge Terror returns to her home surface with post 1 and the “Blue Knight” Jason Hughes back at the controls. The filly has been on a torrid tear including last week where she was tackling this same field and hit the wire first for owner-trainer Bill Lanigan for her 12th win of the season.

Rosetown Mary leaves from post 2 for trainer-driver Corey MacPherson after winning her last three starts as she ascended back to this level. Brokeandoutofgas (To be driven by Paul Langille) also won her last three starts and has post 3 from the Tammy Collings barn.

Also in the power packed field is Get Answers (Marc Campbell), Shake N Blake (Ken Murphy), Windemere Saddy (Adam Merner) and Sweet Molly (Gilles Barrieau).

The Post Time Picks go with Get Answers.

“Get Answers was sent to the front and led for a long way before settling for a third-place finish. Moves to the middle and we’re thinking the tactics will be the same — only this time she goes all the way to the winner’s circle.”

The Open Trot hits the track in race 10 for $4,200.

Buckhead Ridge (Marc Campbell) has been nothing short of tremendous this season for the Landon Campbell barn as he takes on five rivals from post 4 including Rocket Blast (MacPherson) and Fight Song (Hughes).

Race 6 is a division of the Joe & Steven MacRae Memorial Fall Series for $3,000.

Sweet Silvia gets rail control for Corey MacPherson and trainer Deanna Clow, in a field that contains Red Dirt Diamond (Brett Clow), Ubettimagoodone (Barrieau), Elm Grove Nanci (Murphy), JJ Kinley (Kenny Arsenault) and Twin B Solitaire (Steven Murphy).

Wager at the track or online through HPIBET.com, and visit Redshores.ca for programs, live video, and more.
