Harness racing hits Addington again today with 12 races on the card. The racing starts at 4:37pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good night of racing.

Race 1

Transonic (2) Big reputation to uphold here. Up in grade but might be simply too good for them
Betterthanbabe (10) Gets an ideal draw especially if the favourite leads. Can run top three
Flying Bird (6) Getting better with racing and can fly the gate. Might be in front and can stick on

Race 2

Petite Amour (1) Has the draw to try to dominate this. One of the best chances in this line up
Becky’s Girl (2) Galloped last start but better than that. Improving and can test the favourite
Mum’s Angel (4) Improver from her last start but much tougher field. Top three chance here

Race 3

Got You Covered (1) Ok last start and should begin quickly. Top three with a good run in transit
J T Boe (3) Form is impressive for this and stand start the only concern. Good run expected again
Here’s Herbie (7) Good effort last start and conditions suit. Can sneak into the top three with luck

Race 4

Walkinonsunshine (12) Solid fourth last start and a winning chance with no mistakes. Include here
Paige (7) Going great races and deserves to pick one up. Should give a good account with her manners
Vertigo (3) Quick beginner who is out of form.  Place chance at longer odds with a soft run in transit

Ripples (9) Fought on last start in a stronger field after working hard. Driver change and can go better
Cath (5) Had excuses last start and well placed here. Will head forward and good each way chance
The Queens Gambit (7) Will be fitter after last start second. Has gate speed and can cross them. Include

Race 6

Tracy The Jet (1) Picket fence form line and looks to remain that way in this. Should lead and go close
Ya Rite Darl (2) Might get a soft run handy. Maybe the only runner with a chance to beat the favourite
Dash Dosh (4) In winning form and drawn well here. Top driver booked and can run top three again

Race 7

Captains Mistress (1) Gets a head start on main rivals and has beaten these ones before. Winning claims
Arafura (5) Big effort last start and should go close to placing in this. Extra distance suits her toughness
General Jen (10) Should get a good run near the speed from the draw. Top three chance at longer odds

Race 8

Meant To Be (11) Running on last start and did have excuses. Second row draw but can go close to winning
Youneverknow (6) Decent motor and better draw for this. One of the better top three chances. Needed
Gatesys Gem (7) Good second last start but harder here. Will continue to improve and place hope again 

Race 9

Got The Chocolates (4) Toughest horse in the field and extra distance will suit. Very hard to beat
Marketplace (5) Decent motor and will have to use his speed to beat the favourite. Top two hope
Bettors Anvil (2) Running on last start and extra distance suits. Place hope from the better draw

Race 10

Kingman (9) Has raced better fields. Can probably sit outside them and go close to winning this
We Walk By Faith (8) Wide draw but better than most in this field. Running on in the NZ Cup
The Lazarus Effect (5) Likely leader who can run a quick time in front. Could surprise here

Race 11

The Present Maker (16) Conditions suit and nice win on Cup Day. Can go close again with manners
Zoltan Boscik (10) Bit unlucky last start and only need s a soft trip and room to be a factor. Needed
Master Class (9) Likely to race close to the speed here. Never far away and has place claims

Race 12

Scrunch (3) Stable racing well and good draw to get handy early. Looks hard to beat if he can lead
Hugo (5) Good second last start. Gate speed will put him in the race early. Needed in combinations
Dawn To Dark (8) Not faring well with draws but not the worst at longer odds with a cart into it
