Ultra consistent colt Its Confidential (Poster Boy) upstaged his more fancied harness racing rivals when he finished brilliantly to take out the Group 2 $100,000 APG Vicbred Super Series Final for three year old colts and geldings at Melton on Saturday evening.

In an action packed event, Its Confidential settled back in the field to be four back on the rails. Calexico showing blistering speed found the lead with Forty Love going around the field to tackle the lead. The well supported Golden Tribe was behind the leader.
The Emma Stewart trained pair Storms Collide and favourite Captain Perfect both went around the field at various stages of the event.
ITS CONFIDENTIAL NOV 22 REPLAY
Calexico was giving a bold display in the lead but Forty Love was making a serious challenge on turning for home. Forty Love despite having done a great deal of work surged to the front with Coastal Drive coming down the outside. Nathan Jack on Its Confidential weaved his way through the pack and in a desperate finish edged out Forty Love right on the line with Coastal Drive just a neck away in third.
Its Confidential has been a model of consistency. He accepted for the Western Australia Derby a few weeks back but as Nathan Jack explained a cancellation on the plane suddenly made the trip very expensive and they decided to stay home. The decision was obviously the best one given the winning stake money of $50,000.

Nathan Jack was clearly relieved after the event.
I didn’t think I got there. I though Dunn’s horse had won. I love this horse. A great bunch of owners. I can’t thank Mick Boots (part owner) enough. He paid overs for him. He didn’t care. So Bootsy this one’s for you. I said to the connections we’ll get four on the fence. We’re not good enough to go wide and win. The gates opened I was cursing myself for not coming off earlier. He hit the line hard. All credit to him.
He’s such a good looking horse. We might set him for the Breeders Crown.
Its Confidential is the first foal of former grand race mare Speak No Evil who went 1.50.9 winning the 3YO Breeders Final at Melton and the Benstud Queen of the Pacific at the same track.
Forty Love ran a great race and after having done a lot of work continued to fight on to just miss out. He’s a vastly improved pacer and looks as if he can only get better.
