Two groupe II events highlighted the superb trotting weekend start at Paris-Vincennes. In the Prix Raoul Balliere (Gr II monte, purse 120,000€, 2175 meters, 10 three year old starters) where Manitas de Truchon (3f Etonnant-Gloria du Gery)scored in 1.12.3kr at 38/1 odds.
Mathis Champenois was the winning jockey for breeder/trainer/owner Richard Westerink. This was Manitas’ third career victory now for 137,920€. The 7.6/1 odds Mhum Flying (3m Helgafell-Catalina du Pont) was second for jockey Victor Saussaye and for trainer/owner Christophe Clin, followed by 1.6/1 odds favorite Matignon (3m Bird Parker-Uticia) with Alexandre Abrivard in the irons for Thierry Bonnardel who trains for owner Y-A Briand.

Sweden’s Fame And Glory (5m Tactical Landing-Olympia Tilly) captured the co-featured Prix Doynel de Saint-Quentin (Gr II International, purse 120,000€, 2850 meters, 12 five year old starters) at Vincennes timed in 1.12.5kr.

Off at 7/1odds the Bjorn Goop handled trotteur is trained by Timo Nurmos for Stall SoFo. This was his first win in France in his initial start, and advanced his earnings to 958,338€. The 8.6/1 odds Immortal Doc (5m Brillantissime-Nikita Broline) was second driven by Paul Philippe Ploquin for owner/trainer Fredric Wallin.
Kobayaski (5m Face Time Bourbon-Come On Jet) was third for trainer/driver Mathieu Mottier off at 24/1for owner Ecurie Hunter Valley. King Opera (5m Ready Cash-Unlimited Jet) took fourth at 10/1odds for trainer/driver William Bigeon and Joel Seche, ahead of fifth finishing 20/1 Ksar (5m Follow You-Tes Amours) with Matthieu Abrivard up. Kana de Beylev (5f Express Jet) and Kuiper (5m Face Time Bourbon) completed the top seven.
