Harness racing hits Geraldine again today with 11 races on the card. The racing starts at 12:05pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good night of racing.

Race 1

Cee Whatabet (5) Good effort last start and will be improved. Should run top three with manners
Son Of Doc (3) Draw and driver assist and should begin quickly. Has to be included in this field
The Gangster (8) Has trialed ok and stable go well at this time of the year. Place chance at odds

Race 2

Majestic Monkey (8) Consistent form and easier here. Looks one of the better chances in this
Zhutee (10) Has the speed and will be fitter but lacking complete manners. Chance with no errors
Senior Constable Liz (3) Improver from her last start and top three chance here with a soft trip

Race 3

Vesta (4) Should have won a race by now and good chance to get one here. Good run expected
Unico Tessa (3) Change of stable and a threat to these with a good run in transit. Needed here
Ultimate Rush (5) Has won a Methven trial and has changed stables. Can sneak into the top three 

Race 4

Lookslikeatrixter (7) Solid second last start and a winning chance with a good trip in transit.
Madam Patsy (9) Freshened and goes well on grass. Should give a good account first up
Schoemaker (10) Out of form but improver with a place chance at longer odds. Driver change

Race 5

Semba (2) Fought on last start in a stronger field. Top selection in this from the good draw
Misty Blue (12) Drops in class for this and will be running on late. Good each way chance
Destiny’s Dream (4) Will be fitter after last start. Nice draw and should get a soft trip. Include

Race 6

B D Hall (4) Good form and stable respect make him a logical choice. Hard to beat against these
Miles Away (11) Tricky draw but conditions suit for this and in form. Winning claims with luck
Wilma’s Boy (15) Coming in fresh and he races well in that condition. Goes close with manners

Race 7

Samvasa (1) Gets a head start on the favourites and could surprise with a soft trip. Needed here
Hey Tonight (8) Tricky draw but should go close to placing in this. In great form and top driver
Whyamihere (5) Freshened and should get a good run near the speed. Winning claims in this

Race 8

The Lazarus Effect (5) Fastest horse in the field and looks the winner if he leads up. Must include
Built For Glory (8) Decent motor and upset claims with a good trip. One of the better chances
Vessem (9) Disappointing last start. Will continue to improve and place hope again here

Race 9

Festus Haggen (11) Normally running on in his races and dangerous if he leads. One for odds
Elektra King (7) Decent motor and is drawn well here. Stable respect and due to show form
Carlin (2) Had excuses last start. Will continue to improve and place hope again from the draw

Race 10

I Dream Of Jeannie (9) Has raced better fields. Back in handicap but looks a good bet. Needed
Vertigo (5) Quick beginner who has not had a lot of luck recently. Has to be respected in this
Maui (8) Good finish last start in a tougher field and can do some work mid race. Could surprise

Race 11

Quinn (11) Good third last start and conditions suit here. Should get a run through early. Needed
Treasure Cove (9) Stable respect and better run last start. Wide draw hurts but needed here
Franco Humbie (6) Likely to race close to the speed here. One for longer odds with luck in running
