Ultra consistent trotter Get Used To It (Used To Me) finally repaid his excellent form of late when he showed a clean pair of heels to lead all the way in the Group 3 Prydes Easifeed Trotting Feature at Albion Park on Saturday evening.

In an evenly matched race, Get Used To It was sent out favourite ahead of last weeks Darrell Alexander winner Taylad To Use and Sheza Chance.
However Taylad To Use broke shortly after the start and settled back near the rear of the field which did his chances no good.
Sheza Chance showed speed to lead from the pole but Angus Garrard wasted no time in heading for straight to the lead.
Zealous Spur went around the field three wide before parking outside Get Used To It.
But Get Used To It was always travelling well and Garrard gave the six year old gelding to stride away for a winning break and at the finish he had just under ten metres to spare from Zealous Spur who showed plenty of pluck for second just ahead of Sheza Chance.
GET USED TO IT DEC 6 REPLAY
Get Used To It is out of the Commando mare Commander Jewel a New Zealand bred mare who won ten races with a best time of 2.00.5.

Trainer Darren Weeks from Stanmore outlined that there was a lot work that had to be done with Get Used To It from an early age.
We bought him from Yabby Dam Farms as a yearling. But he’s been a real project. He was very nervous as a youngster. He had a few tricks to settle. But we’ve noticed every year he’s got better.
Now he’s a foolproof trotter and for now he’s become reliable.
Weeks indicated that he would not send Get Used to It for the Victorian cups carnival in the New Year.
We might send him to Menangle, he’s won there and he likes the track there. But for now he’s deserved a break.
At this stage Weeks is not overly ambitious with Get Used To It but indicated that as he improves that next year’s home based Inter Dominion at Albion Park could be on the cards.
