The 2026 $1m Race by betcha is a sell out.
The Race by betcha and the $600,000 TAB Trot will headline the Night Of Champions at Cambridge Raceway on April 10, 2026.
All 10 slots for the Race by betcha have now been snapped up, with six spaces still available for the TAB Trot.
Slot-holders from last year were given first option with slots costing $60,000 plus GST for The Race by betcha, and $40,000 plus GST for The TAB Trot.
It will be the fifth edition of The Race, with Self Assured winning the first one in 2022.
The 10 Race by betcha slot-holders are :
All Stars Racing and Chris Ryder
Craig Whiteoak
Dennis and Mark Dunford
Harnesslink
Montana Park Pty Ltd
N40 Racing
Rakero Racing
Rampant Pty Ltd
Solid Earth Pty Ltd
Stonewall Stud Ltd
While no horses have been attached to the slot-holders as yet it is obvious who some of the star acts are likely to be.
For instance Solid Earth Pty Ltd races defending champion Leap To Fame, Montana Park own 2023 winner Merlin, and Harnesslink’s owner is Mick Harvey, who owns reigning IRT New Zealand Trotting Cup champion Kingman.
Meanwhile The TAB Trot, which was won by Australian visitor Arcee Phoenix last year, has had its deadline extended for a few days.
Organisers are confident they will have more slots sold by the new cut-off day which is next Tuesday, December 23.
