Chitchat wins Prix de Craon

Today’s Paris-Vincennes Christmas Eve feature was the Quinte+ Prix de Craon (Quinte+, purse  68,000€, 2700 meters, 16 Euroopean starters ages 6-10) where Sweden’s 15/1 odds  Chitchat (8g Maharajah-Bring It On) was game winner in 1.13.8kr with Benjamin Rochard driving for Stall Sofo and trainer Daniel Wajersten.

Chitchat won for the fourth time in 16 starts in France.  He  advanced his career bankroll  to 256,832€. The 8/10 odds favorite Je Te Cherche (6g Love You-Return Money) was second  driven  by Theo  Duvaldestin  for breeder/owner/trainer Thierry Duvaldestin. L.A. Boko (7f Readly Express-Beverly Boko) was third for reinsman Mathieu Mottier at 65/1 odds with Dominck Locqueneux the trainer for Stall Ynwa AB. Chestnut (8m Jocose) took fourth at 22/1 with Alexandre Abrivard up for trainer Daniel Reden and PopN Paula AB.

On  the undercard was the Prix des Eglantiers ( purse 51,000€, 2850meters, eight two year old starters) where even money favorite Net Money (2mIn The Money-Guinness des  Pres)scored in 1.16.5kr driven by Theo Duvaldestin for owner Charles Bourratyiere and conditioner  and breeder Thierry Duvaldestin.

He defeated 16/1 Necklace (2m Hohneck) handled by Benjamin Rochard and 2.5/1 Nemos du Goutier (2m Ready Cash) with trainer Danien Bonne up.

The  2/1odds favorite Mythique Josselyn  (3m Ready Cash-Belina  Josselyn) captured the Prix de Barcelonnette (purse 35,000€, 2850 meters, eight starters age three)for his maiden victory.

Nicolas Bazire trains this Yvan Bernard bred colt that New Blue 1LLC owns. Medellin Ellis (3m Bold Eagle) was second for driver/trainer P-Y Verva followed  by 37/1 Mister  d’Avoines (3g Oiseaude Feux) with Alexis Collette up.
