WAGERING CHANGES

Hollywood Casino at The Meadows announces some updates to its wagering menu for the 2026 season.  There will only be one pentafecta offered daily, which will be in the final race of the card.  Additionally, in that final race there will be no superfecta wagering.  These changes take effect starting this Wednesday, January 7.

POP UP SERIES START WEDNESDAY

Two divisions of the Pop Up Series for conditioned-claiming trotters will take place this Wednesday, January 7, carded as races #4 and #6.  Horses will earn points in three preliminary legs of the series, aiming for the $20,000 final this month.  Pop Up Series races will be offered daily throughout the next three weeks.  For additional information regarding entries, contact The Meadows’ Race Office at 724-229-6964.

PICK-4 GUARANTEE RETURNS       

When the new season begins, a popular guaranteed pool will also make its return.  The $5,000 guarantee will be back daily on the Late Pick-4, consisting of the final four races of each day’s card.

JUDGE/HORSEMEN MEETING SCHEDULED

Presiding Judge Scott Egger has scheduled a meeting with horsemen for Tuesday, January 20 at 2PM Eastern to go over general commission updates, rules and as a question & answer session.  Those that cannot attend in person will be able to join via phone.  The number for the dial-in meeting is 724-301-4632, with the passcode 590595932#.
