Harness Analyst – Kapiti Coast 15th January free tips

Harness racing hits Hawera again today with 8 races on the card. The racing starts at 3:27pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good afternoon of racing.

Best Value:  R2   Im All In

Race 1  

Enya Franco (1) Top driver booked and draws ideally. One of the best chances in this field 
Cathy Freeman(9) Better run last start and conditions suit. Improver with top three claims
Bugalugs (5) Getting older but is still running good races Has to be included in at longer odds

Race 2  

Im All In (12) Trainer change and top driver aboard here. Wide draw but improver at short notice
Viscount Banner (9) Ok last start is stronger and just needs luck to be a threat. Include here
The Enigma (13) A bit disappointing last start but trialed ok and could be the bolter in this field 

Race 3  

Highview Rockn Roll (9) Racing in form and should give a sight back on grass. Good run expected
Ordained (1) Has improved form and still on the way up. Will give a good performance from the ace
Kenny Hill (10) Has speed but needs manners. Can sneak into the top three with no errors in transit

Race 4  

Kawactus (4) Has been racing ok against nice horses and will be fitter after last start third. Needed
Jahi (2) Not far away lasts start and should give a good account back on the grass. Top three chance
Bell Fire (5) Still a bit green but has the speed to be a chance with a soft run. One for longer odds here

Race 5  

Higher Power (5) Grass debut but at his best would be hard to beat. Looks a solid top three player here
Premium Player (10) Disappointing last start but well placed here. Good each way chance on grass
Johnny Who (14) Tricky handicap but obvious ability and should run a nice race. Worth including in this 

Race 6  

Shezabettorgirl (4) Fought on last start in a nice field and driver trainer combo strong. Top selection
Social Distancing (8) Has gate speed and grass suits. Good each way chance at longer odds here
Goorambat Art (2) Might get a soft run near the speed here. Will be running on here with any luck

Race 7  

American Me (5) Good stats on grass. Hard to beat if he gets a good run in transit. Top selection
Double Time (2) Out of form but has won on grass and top driver booked. One of the better chances
Rough And Ready (4) Good win last start but yet to fire on grass. Has claims with a soft trip in this

Race 8  

Eagle Hanover (6) Good beginner who can race handy and sneak into the placings if things go his way
Paradise Ali (9) Has the speed to be a threat but manners still suspect. Not the worst with no mistakes
Senior Constable Liz (3) Has come a long way for this. Will continue to improve here and one for lodds
