Harness racing hits Invercargill again today with 10 races on the card. The racing starts at 4:24pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Harness analyst best tips: 

Best Bet:  R4  Our Twinkle

Best Value:  R7   Blaze Lightening

Race 1 

Cold Pursuit (5) Galloped last start but mobile a big assist here. One of the best chances in this field
Ramblin Rover (7) Good draw and should begin quickly. Distance suits for this and can go close
Van Liberty (8) Has looked ok at trials and top driver booked. Has to be included in combos

Race 2 

Turn N Burn (2) Racing well and will race near the speed. Great draw and top selection here
Byllee J (1) Ok last start and has the best draw Just needs luck to be a threat. Include in this
Dame West (7) Wider draw over the sprint and might get back early. Will be running home late

Race 3 

Franco Hefner (7) Looked good at trials and stable in form with first starters.  Good run expected
What’s The Whisper (14) Has improved form and still on the way up. Will give a good performance
Roseanna (8) Has speed but needs manners. Can sneak into the top three with no errors early on

Race 4 

Our Twinkle (1) Has been racing ok against nice horses and will be fitter after last start 2nd
Shergar (2) Not far away lasts start and should give a good account with a similar effort here
Arista (9) Still a bit green but follows out the hotpot in this. Has the speed to be a major factor

Race 5 

Rise Up N Dance (7) Fought on last start in a stronger field. Looks a solid top three player but wide draw
Tashs Bad Girl (2) Disappointing last start but well placed here. Good each way chance with a soft trip
The Orange Roughy (1) Has ability and should get a soft trip from the draw. Worth including in this

Race 6 

Mor Moonlight (11) Fought on last start in a stronger field and extra distance suits. Top selection
Jordan Anne (10) Running on last start and well placed here. Good each way chance at longer odds
Xerion (6) Manners needed but decent motor and will be running on here . Upset claims with no errors

Race 7 

Blaze Lightening (8) Wide draw hurts. Hard to beat if he gets a good run in transit. EW claims
Anita Mary (3) Ok form and can do some work mid race. One of the better chances in this. Include
Just Like Jagger (12) Good effort last start and has claims with a cart into the race. Winning claims

Race 8 

Princess Sadie (1) Good beginner who can race handy and sneak into the placings if things go her way
Domination’s Call (2) Decent beginner and in great from. Can get handy early and stick on for a place
Hidden Talent (4) Disappointing last start. Only needs manners early to figure in the placings. Needed

Race 9 

Duchess Of Kent (7) Wide draw but most progressive horse in the field. Wins with her best form here. 
Always Be Bootie (6) Decent motor and should give a good account. Good chance on recent tidy form
Tabasco (10) Had excuses last start and would be dangerous if he can get handy early. One for odds. 

Race 10 

Dont Look Kobe (2) Unlucky lasts start and at his best would go close to winning this. Needed
Father Ned (6) Wide draw but better than most in this field. Has to be respected and can win again
Hobbs (11) Good finish last start and has to be included again in this. Needs manners early though
