Harness racing hits Hawera again today with 10 races on the card. The racing starts at 12:00pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Race 1

Paradise Ali (8) Unkown on grass and needs manners but stable respect and can run top three here
Buynowpaylater (2) Small field will help and should begin quickly. Winning claims if he finds the front
Brother Johnson (9) Has the motor but the manners have been terrible the last few runs. Upset chance

Race 2

Sweet Vintage (2) Got back and never improved last start with money on. Look for a better effort here
Magie Do (5) Not the worst here after a freshen up and one for longer odds in this. Worth including
Run Blaze Run (9) Running on last start and will get a soft pegs run in this. Can lob a place with luck

Race 3

Dream On Lou (3) Looked better last start and can run an honest race if he handles the track. Include
Gwendoline Mary (1) Ok last start and a threat to the favourite with a good run in transit. Draw helps
The Elite Athlete (9) Good effort last start and conditions suit. Can sneak into the top three with luck

Race 4

Itmusclebelove (10) Solid third last start and a winning chance if she handles her grass track debut.
Highview Rockn Roll (5) Goes well the track and on the grass surface. Should give a good account
Ordained (2) In winning form but unknown on the grass surface. Place chances look best here

Social Distancing (6) Fought on last start in a stronger field. Has gate speed and top selection in this
Caulfield (5) Running on late last start and well placed here. Good chance and has won three on grass
Million Dollar Chic (3) Will be fitter after last start win. Ok draw and should get a soft trip. Include

Race 6

Im All In (6) Has been unlucky in a lot of his starts and change of trainer for this. Possible form reversal
Rhaegal (2) Nice second last start and well placed here. Good each way chance from the draw. Needed
The Enigma (10) Will be fitter after last start. Not the worst at longer odds and conditions suit here

Race 7

Premium Player (7) Grass track specialist who has been in great form. Hard to beat against this lot
Higher Power (3) Should get a soft run handy. Winning claims if he handles his first start on grass
Nazareth (1) Due to show form and drawn well here. Driver change and could be the bolter. Needed

Race 8

American Me (5) Fastest beginner in the field and will race handy here. Goes well on grass. Include
Double Time (3) Decent motor and is drawn well here. One of the better chances back on grass
Rough And Ready (4) Good win last start. Will continue to improve but lean grass stats a worry

Race 9

Goorambat Art (6) Has won on a grass track in the past. Is a bit one paced but should go close
Ragnar Lothbrok (8) Decent motor and racing well in stronger fields. One of the better chances
Call Security (7) Big finish last start. Will continue to improve and place hope at longer odds

Race 10

Shezabettorgirl (7) IN form and should be hard to beat on previous form. Wide draw but needed
Miki’s Moment (5) Grass stats good and nice win last start. Should go close to placing with luck
Kawactus (3) Good finish last start and lean grass stats the only concern. Could surprise in this
