Inferno Piper wins at Vincennes

The 14/1 odds Inferno Piper (8g Coup de Poker-Troiana Piper) captured today’s Paris-Vincennes featured Prix de Lingeais (quinte+, purse 75,000€, 2850 meters, 14 starters  ags 7-11) timed  in 1.12.9kr. Christophe Martens teamed the Vincent Martens trainee for breeder/owner Ecurie Piper to his 12th career harness racing victory in 31starts now for 288,570€.

Jongleuse de Lune (7f Cash And Go) was second at 4.8/1 odds for Alexis  Collette, trainer Kevin Leblanc and Elevage Always With Me.

The 9/1 He And  Me (9m Bird Parker-Beauty Lady) was third for Eric Raffin and conditioner Julien Dubois.

King Look (6g Look de Star-Une Lady Only) took the Prix de Chambery (purse 53,000€, 2850 meters, 15 European six year olds) at 2.3/1 odds clocked in 1.13.4kr driven by Theo Duvaldestin. Ecurie des Charmes owns and bred this Thierry Duvaldestin trainee that now sports nine wins in 17 outings for 125,970€.

Krunchy (6g Voltigeur de Myrt) was second  at  34/1 with  Alexis Collette  up for trainer Michael Izzo, followed by 22/1 Fusion Eagra (6g Django Riff) with Alexandre Abrivard  handling  the Eric Martinsson trainee.

Action at  Vincennes  on January 31 includes two Gr III tests and then on February 1 will be the Gr I International Prix de L’Ile de France  (Cornulier monte race, purse 200,000€, 15 starters racing 2175 meters).
