Not This Time takes Gr III Prix Leopold Verroken

Today’s Prix de L’Ile de France undercard was a good one with two upper class tests. First, the Prix Indienne (monte purse 71,000€,  2175  meters, 11 European starters ages 5-6) went to 33/1 odds Lovissime (5f Love You-Elegantissime-Rady Cash-Ivre de Victoire-Buvetier d’Aunou) timed in 1.11.4kr with jockey Guillaume Martin up for Courant AB and trainer Sabine  Kagebrant.

The  winner has now recorded six wins in 19 starts in France for 286,018€.She was bred  by legendary Frederic Sauque. Home second was 10/1 Lotus Zen (5g Booster Winner) with J-Y Ricart up for owner Martial Dupuis and trainer Antonio Ripoll-Rigo. Third  was 31/1 Kathina For Clara (6f Tornado Bello) with Alexis Collette in the irons for trainer Charley Mottier and owner J.G. Van Eeckhaute.

Next the Prix Leopold Verroken (Gr III purse  60,000€, 2175meters,10 three year old open starters) showcased  the winning 2.8/1 odds Not This Time (3m Ready Cash-Famous Lady) for his third victory in three starts driven by Mathieu Mottier for trainer/breeder Louis Baudron and owner Ecurie des Gulnaies.

He has now earned 61,660€.  Nat King Cole (3m Ready Cash-Deep Purple) was second as the 1.9/1 favorite choice handled by David Thomain for breeder/trainer/owner Philippe Allaire followed by 18/1 Norma Jeane (3f Feeling Cash-Galiote du Goutier) driven by P-Y Verva for Bruno Bourgoin the trainer for Michel Agostini.
