Meadowlands requesting trainer reports

East Rutherford, N.J. — The Meadowlands race office has requested that all trainers with horses entered in the fifth race at the Meadowlands for both Friday (December 4) and Saturday (December 5) evening's programs to submit training reports via email to trainers@playmeadowlands.com by noon Wednesday.

 

Additionally, trainers of horses indicated as the top two morning line favorites in all races this weekend will be sought for reports on said horses.

 

TOYS FOR TOTS COLLECTION DRIVE AT MEADOWLANDS RACING & ENTERTAINMENT

Meadowlands Racing & Entertainment for their  Annual Toys for Tots Collection Drive running now – Saturday, December 12; All are welcome to bring in new, unwrapped toys and spread some magic and cheer this holiday season to a child in need. Meadowlands Racing & Entertainment will be donating all collected toys to the local Marine Corps Toys for Tots.

I am proud we continue to host a Toys for Tots drive each holiday season,” said Jason M. Settlemoir, GM/CEO of Meadowlands Racing and Entertainment. It warms the heart when you think about all of the children who will have a special holiday season.

Since its approval to be an official activity of the U.S. Marine Corps in 1995, the mission of the Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year. The program then distributes those toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.
