Former New Zealand 4YO of the Year Tintin In America, who is now standing at Yirribee Pacing Stud, Wagga (NSW), took the siring honours at the final Winter Meeting at Addington Raceway on Sunday (August 30).
The champion son of McArdle led in a winning double with two members of his first crop, Claus and Terrier, the former posting his sixth success and the latter his fourth.
Tintin In America was also represented by the three-year-old filly Smooth Rye, who came from worse than midfield to notch her third win at Pinjarra.
Million Dollar Cam claimed a winning double at the Bathurst midweek meeting with the three-year-old Pat McGarry (1:56.7), who was bred by Yirribee Stud, and Bill Shannon (1:59.7).
Highly promising three-year-old filly Didn’t I, a winner in 1:57.2 at Kimore and now the winner of four of her last five, and Arrived Late (1:59, Summerside Rcaeway, Canada) were other recent winners sired by Million Dollar Cam.
The Renaissance Man two-year-old colt Artful Jack continues to fly the flag for his sire in NSW. The colt scored a runaway success in 1:59.6 at Tamworth to complete a winning hat trick.
Another Yirribee Stud-bred winner was Mach Angelo, who emerged successful for the sixth time at Penrith.
