Yonkers Pick 5 well received

YONKERS, NY, Monday, October 19, 2015 — Yonkers Raceway's Monday Pick 5 harness racing wager attracted a fair amount of attention.

Beginning with a worthwhile carryover of $5,249.99 (since no one took down the Saturday night pool), the gimmick drew in $22,905.24 of fresh money. After takeout, that left $22,428.92 to be divided anew.

The winning combination of 5/1/4/7/4 returned $801 for every winning half-a-buck ticket.
