It’s time to vote for the best drive

HARNESS Racing fans have put forward their nominations and from this five drives in New South Wales during the 2017/18 season have been selected for the TAB Kevin Newman Award For Driving Excellence.

The winner of this Award will be announced at the Arthur J. Gallagher Harness Racing NSW Awards Night on October 27 at the Sofitel, Sydney Wentworth.

And those that vote for the winner go into the draw to top up their TAB account by $2000.

The five drives nominated are:

-· Brad Elder – 'Patience pays off' – DAYS END (Newcastle 9/1/18 – No.10) – Replay

-· Anthony Winnell – 'Late race moves wins the race' – FLINDERS LANE (Bathurst 25/10/17 – No.5) – Replay

– Chris Geary – 'Caught them napping' – IM THE VILLAGE STAR (Menangle 28/4/18 – No.10) – Replay

– Mat Rue – 'Weaving magic secures the win' – KASH US BACK (Bathurst 29/7/18 – No.9) – Replay

– Brett Hogan – 'Flashy drive gets the cash' – GUMLY GREY (Wagga 15/6/18 – No.11) – Replay
