Auch and Cyriel d’Atom win at Enghien

Saturday trotting at Enghien was highlighted by the Quinte+ Prix de l’Obelisque (purse €64,000, 2150 meters autostart) with the 1.12.9kr timed victory to 8.6/1 Auch (8g Niky-Migraine) handled by Damien Bonne for owner/trainer Christian Bigeon.

The winner now has career earnings in excess of €312,000. 66/1 Venezia de Mai (9f Prodigious) was second for Adrien Lamy and third went to 17/1 Beaute de Bailly (7f Vivaldi de Chenu) for driver Franck Nivard. 3/2 favorite Diamond and 36/1 Ulhior du Beziau completed the top five.

The Prix du Rhone (purse €75,000, 2875 meters, 11 starters) went to 1.14.5kr timed and 8/1 odds Cyriel d’Atom (6g Otello Pierji-Oliga d’Atom) for driver Gabriele Gelormini and breeder/owner/trainer Aime de Grieve. 15/1 Cerenzo Turbo (6m Ganymede) and 3.1/1 Cicero Noa (6g Mandarino Blue) were the next two home with Franck Ouvrie and Pierre Vercruysse driving these horses. Favorite Colonel was eighth with J-M Bazire up.
