The Stallions Australasia sires Muscle Hill, Trixton and Royalty For Life made a clean sweep of the three trotting features at Woodbine Mohawk Park, Canada on Saturday night (September 14).
The Muscle Hill three-year-old colt Green Manalishi S captured the $C605,000 Canadian Trotting Classic, Trixton’s three-year-old daughter Evident Beauty captured the $C376,000 Elegantimage in 1:53, while the Royalty For Life two-year-old gelding HP Royal Theo outmuscled his rivals in the $C370,000 William Wellwood Memorial in a career-best 1:54.4.
Green Manalishi S led from the outset and maintained a solid tempo to win by half a length in 1:52.8. It was his 10th success and pushed his stake earnings over the $1 million plateau.
Evident Beauty overcame a post position 10, settled midfield on the outer and powered home to score a half-length victory. The Trixton fillies When Dovescry and Princess Deo finished third and fourth respectively. Evidenty Beauty has won nine races and $666,898.
While HP Royal Theo, having only his sixth start, was midfield early before moving forward into the one-out in the second stanza. Angled three deep on the home turn, HP Royal Theo unleashed a 28.4 final quarter to score by 1-3/4 lengths.
